چکیده
Abstract Spacecraft observations provide evidence about the existence of various waves and kinetic instabilities in solar wind plasmas. These play an important role dynamics wind. In present work, bump-on-tail (BOT) instability is revisited by employing κ then modified (r, κ) distributions using a quasilinear approach. The evolution studied analytically numerically data. growth rate BOT for varying ratios temperature number density also observed. It observed that maximum increases with increasing decreases electron bump. effect spectral indices kappa distribution r functions ultimately contributes towards shoulder tail results appear to have been modified. Stimulation wave energy shows rapid variation as compared simple linear model.

the aim of this study has been to find answers for the following questions: 1. what is the effect of immediate correction on students pronunciation errors? 2. what would be the effect of teaching the more rgular patterns of english pronunciation? 3. is there any significant difference between the two methods of dealing with pronuciation errore, i. e., correction and the teaching of the regular ...
15 صفحه اولBGK states from the bump-on-tail instability
Numerical computations are presented of the BGK-like states that emerge beyond the saturation of the bump-on-tail instability in the Vlasov–Poisson system. The stability of these states towards subharmonic perturbations is explored in order to gauge whether the primary bump-on-tail instability always suffers a secondary instability that precipitates wave mergers and coarsening of the BGK patter...
متن کاملNon-maxwellian Ion Velocity Distributions Observed Using Eiscat
Recent observations from the EISCAT neutral thermal speed. However, for larger incoherent scatter radar have revealed bursts of drifts the distribution function is predicted to poleward ion flow in the dayside auroral ionosbe highly non-Maxwellian and takes the form of a phere which are consistent with the ionospheric torus in velocity space (symmetric about the signature of flux transfer event...
متن کاملNon-Maxwellian electron distributions in clusters of galaxies
Context. Thermal X-ray spectra of clusters of galaxies and other sources are commonly calculated assuming Maxwellian electron distributions. There are situations where this approximation is not valid, for instance near interfaces of hot and cold gas and near shocks. Aims. The presence of non-thermal electrons affects the X-ray spectrum. To study the role of these electrons in clusters and other...
متن کاملMisestimation of temperature when applying Maxwellian distributions to space plasmas described by kappa distributions
This paper presents the misestimation of temperature when observations from a kappa distributed plasma are analyzed as a Maxwellian. One common method to calculate the space plasma parameters is by fitting the observed distributions using known analytical forms. More often, the distribution function is included in a forward model of the instrument’s response, which is used to reproduce the obse...
